Best Practices for Achieving an HCV Cure
Certified CME/CNE Activity - Mini Modules
Chronic infection with hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a serious health issue for the nearly 200 million infected persons worldwide. Achievement of a SVR may be associated with improved long-term clinical outcomes, including increased survival. Because of the intricacies and challenges associated with monitoring disease status and HCV treatment, healthcare providers often turn to guideline recommendations and best practices when tailoring therapy to achieve the best results for the individual patient.

These Mini Modules will review the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD)/Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) recommendations on the use of HCV regimens for HCV genotypes 1 through 6, including treatment eligibility and when to start therapy.
Review one (or all) Mini Modules of interest. Claim AMA or ANCC credit/contact hour(s) per module after completion of each brief Post-Test/Evaluation.
