Research efforts have led to earlier diagnosis, new monitoring approaches, emerging treatment options, and considerations for surgical intervention. To this end, it is critical that pediatric oncologists as well as other members of the multidisciplinary team neurologists caring for patients with NF1-PN are up to date on recent advances.
