TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed for healthcare professionals who are involved in the clinical care of patients with HIV. This may include physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and pharmacists.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this enduring material, participants should be able to:
- Describe the challenges/health equity issues faced by persons with/without HIV when interacting with their healthcare provider(s)
- Discuss patient concerns and barriers about PrEP and ART
- Discuss strategies (HIV prevention/management) to improve patient outcomes and engagement in care
