TARGET AUDIENCE
This activity is designed for healthcare professionals who are involved in the clinical care of patients with PAH. This may include physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, and pharmacists.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this enduring material, participants should be able to:
- Identify the clinical characteristics, diagnostic findings, and psychosocial comorbidities unique to patients with methamphetamine-associated pulmonary arterial hypertension (Meth-APAH).
- Evaluate current therapeutic strategies and challenges in the management of Meth-APAH, including the role of multidisciplinary care and medication adherence.
- Design individualized, risk-stratified treatment plans for Meth-APAH patients that integrate evidence-based therapies, addiction support, and psychosocial interventions.
