Practical Management of Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension: Special Clinical Situations

PAH patients have a wide variety of both ongoing and acute-care clinical needs. A variety of special clinical situations present themselves in this population.

These educational Mini Modules will outline clinical situations that include issues related to weight management and the development/recognition of sleep apnea in patients with PAH; treatment of atrial fibrillation/atrial flutter; preventing and managing acute respiratory infections; and issues related to the delivery of intravenous prostacyclins.
Review one (or all) Mini Modules of interest. Claim AMA, ANCC, or ACPE credit/contact hour(s) per module after completion of each brief Post-Test/Evaluation.
