HLH is an aggressive and life-threatening syndrome of excessive immune activation. In persons with HLH, timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment are essential to achieving a successful outcome. This activity will utilize case-based scenarios to review the diverse clinical presentations of suspected HLH, time-efficient approaches for diagnosis, and considerations for targeted treatment and supportive management strategies. All content is reviewed and approved by the Clinical Viewpoints HLH Planning Committee.
